Regulation and Privacy

ATTENTION: BEFORE SENDING THE PROJECT READ ALL THE RULES AND REGULATIONS


What we are looking for: Short films of any genre and language, with a maximum length of 15 minutes including credits. You can submit short films completed from 1 January 2022.

Each film must have English subtitles. If the finalist films are in a foreign language, the authors must send us a copy with subtitles in Italian at the email address: falvaterrafilmfestival@gmail.com to be screened to the public under penalty of disqualification.

By subscribing to your film at the Falvaterra Film Festival, you declare that you have all the rights to it.


WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
1. Amateur videos. 2. Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations. 3. Pornography. 4. Movies with a standard of
poor production (poor audio, lack of subtitles / captions for non-Italian films, video resolution below 1080p HD). 5. We do not accept screenplay. 6. Film excerpts / scenes are not accepted: the entire film must be submitted.

By submitting your film, please note that: The Falvaterra Film Festival is granted the rights to use an excerpt (trailer / teaser / poster / still images) of each film presented for promotional purposes. The films will not be available online. Each director can submit multiple films that can compete in multiple categories. Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

The natural or legal person who presents the film guarantees that he is authorized to grant the film for a possible screening (private and / or public) and declares to have understood and accepted all the requirements, rules and regulations.
Only  the best short films received will be selected by the Jury for the public screening . You agree to release the Falvaterra Film Festival from any liability, from and against any claim, loss, damage and expense (including but not limited to lawyers' fees and court costs) that may be incurred for any reason as a result of copyright claims. , trademarks, acknowledgments, advertising, screening and loss or damage of the inserted videos. By submitting your film, you declare to
have read, understood and accepted all rules and regulations.


PRIVACY

By registering with the Falvaterra Film Festival, the author of the film declares to accept the processing of personal data, as established by the European Community pursuant to the GDPR of 25 May 2018, and subsequent Italian Legislative Decree 10 August 2018, n.101 on the protection of privacy, for all initiatives related to the event.

He declares to accept the Regulation in all its parts and to hold the legal rights of the film and to authorize its public screening without compensation, freeing the organization of the Festival from any present and future responsibility. By registering for the competition, each author is responsible for the content of their work. The author declares to own all the rights of the work, without prejudice in any way to the rights of third parties, such as screenwriters, actors, rights assignees and musicians.

It also declares that the audiovisual material is not protected by SIAE rights. Based on the provisions of Legislative Decree 30/06/2003 n. 196 and subsequent additions, the author is informed that the requested data are necessary to complete the registration documentation for the Festival.
